Peter Smith - The Secret Pantry

East Yorkshire’s first and only Michelin-starred restaurant has teamed up with a Cottingham gallery to offer an evening of fine food and art featuring the popular ‘Impossimals’.

On Thursday 21 May, The Pipe and Glass at South Dalton, near Beverley, was the venue for ‘The Secret Pantry’ – an evening with artist Peter Smith, whose enchanting ‘Impossimals’ are soon to become international TV stars.

The rotund striped creatures, created by the Nottinghamshire-born artist, have been snapped up by LA-based Suppertime Entertainment and animation partners Spider-Eye, who plan to bring them to an even wider audience with their own highly anticipated worldwide animated series. The Impossimals are exclusively published by Washington Green Fine Art.

Hosted by and exclusive to the award-winning Artmarket gallery, Cottingham, which works in partnership with Washington Green, the evening started with drinks, canapés, and a private viewing of Peter’s art.
